102 New COVID-19 Cases Since Friday at Noon

  Plus 3 New Deaths

21,975 Total Positives / 666 Total Deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (July 12, 2021) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 102 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Friday at noon.)  There are also 3 new deaths.

Of the three deaths, two of them are in the Kingman service area.  One is 40-49 and one is 50-59.  The third death is from the Bullhead City service area, a 50-59 person.  ALL three are previously positive cases.

Of the 102 new confirmed cases, there are 37 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City service area. There are 51 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area. There are 14 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 0 new cases in the North County service area. There are 0 new cases in an Undetermined or unknown area of the county.

Of the 37 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area, one is 0-10; five are 11-19; nine are 20-29; five are 30-39; six are 40-49; two are 50-59; five are 60-69; three are 70-79; one is 80-89.

Of the 51 new cases in the Kingman area, three are 0-10; six are 11-19; four are 20-29; seven are 30-39; thirteen are 40-49; three are 50-59; six are 60-69; seven are 70-79; two are 80-89.

Of the 14 new cases in the Lake Havasu City area, one is 0-10; one is 11-19; one is 20-29; three are 30-39; two are 40-49; three are 50-59; one is 60-69; two are 70-79.

ALL 102 new cases are still being investigated.

Pfizer Vaccine Now Available to

12-17 Year Olds in Mohave County

The Mohave County Department of Public Health has now allocated Pfizer vaccine to the following providers this week. Two doses are required and this vaccine can be administered to the 12-17 age group. In Mohave County, that is approximately 10,000 individuals.)

  • Kingman:                Uptown Drug
  • Bullhead City:         DeeFlat Pharmacy

                                            Riverside Pharmacy

  • Lake Havasu City:  Sunrise Pharmacy

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Mohave County Department of Public Health staff review case information for accuracy and completeness.  There are a number of reasons for the adjustments, including the removal of cases that did not have a permanent address in Mohave County, reconciliation of cases reported twice or not originally reported, and removal of probable cases.

Steps you can take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include:

  • Wear a mask over your nose and mouth
  • Stay at least 6 feet away from others who do not live with you
  • Avoid crowds
  • Avoid poorly ventilated spaces
  • Wash your hands often
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
  • Stay home if you feel sick
  • Monitor your health daily
