*Important New Information on

Reducing COVID-19 Hospitalizations

Monoclonal antibody therapeutics can reduce the possibility of hospitalization or severe illness for those who are positive for COVID-19. The optimal treatment time to receive monoclonal antibodies is as soon as possible following a positive COVID-19 PCR test and within 10 days of onset of COVID-19 symptoms. There are Mohave County healthcare providers who currently offer monoclonal antibody therapeutics. Please reach out to a healthcare provider for more information. *

ALSO: COVID-19 Cases are on the rise in many parts of the U.S., including Mohave County.  Well over 90% of all those who are hospitalized were not vaccinated.  The Mohave County Health Department continues to urge all residents to get fully vaccinated.  At this point, Mohave County has under 40% vaccinated.  If you haven’t been fully immunized yet, please help our county reach a much higher percentage of vaccinations.  The Delta variant is here and hospitalizations have increased locally.

Vaccinations are readily available at this time. With some providers, immediate walk ins are available as well. Check providers here–https://www.mohavecounty.us/ContentPage.aspx?id=127&cid=1444&page=2&rid=2230 *
