5 New COVID-19 Cases
14 in Kingman; 1 in Lake Havasu City

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 10, 2020) Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 15 new COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County and a COVID-19 related death. Fourteen of the cases are from the Kingman service area and one is from the Lake Havasu Service area. The one death is also from the Kingman area and is an 86+ age person, who is linked to a confirmed case is also a previously identified case.
Four of the Kingman area cases are hospitalized; two of those are in the 55-64 age range. One of them is linked to another case and the other an investigation is pending. The other two are 65+ with one linked to another case and the other has an investigation pending.
Of the ten remaining Kingman area cases, five are in the 20-44 age range. All five of those are in isolation, recovering at home, and are linked to another case. Of the remaining five Kingman area cases, one is in the 45-54 age range and two of those three are 55-64. All three of those are in isolation, recovering at home, with an investigation pending. The final two Kingman area cases are 65+, in isolation, recovering at home and are linked to another case.
The final case is a Lake Havasu City area person, who is 65+, hospitalized, and is not linked to another confirmed case and not travel-related.
There are now 47 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including four deaths, 137 in Kingman, with a total of 19 deaths there, 4 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) and 18 in Bullhead City, including one death. There are a total of — 24 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases –206.
