188 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Today in Mohave County

188 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Today

Plus 5 New Deaths

16,320 Total Positives

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (January 22, 2021) –The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 188 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today. There are also 5 new deaths reported today.

Of the 5 new deaths in the county,  Two are in the Lake Havasu City service area. One is 70-79 and one is 80-89. There are two deaths in the Kingman service area, one is 70-79 and one is 80-89.  The final death is in the Bullhead City service area, a 70-79 person.

Of the 188 new confirmed cases, there are 68 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area.  there are 60 new cases in the Bullhead City service area. There are 48 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are 8 new cases in the North County service area. There are 4 new cases in an Undetermined area of the county.

Of the 60 new cases in the Bullhead City are, 56 of them remain under investigation. Four are 0-10; two are 11-19; ten are 20-29; five are 30-39; six are 40-49; five are 50-59; seven are 60-69; fifteen are 70-79; two are 80-89. The remaining 4 cases are all recovering at home and are linked to another case.  Two are 0-10; one is 11-19 and one is 20-29.

ALL of the remaining new confirmed cases are still under investigation.

Of the 68 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, four are 0-10; four are 11-19; eight are 20-29; seven are 30-39; five are 40-49; four are 50-59; fourteen are 60-69; nineteen are 70-79; three are 80-89.

Of the 48 new confirmed cases in the Kingman area, four are 0-10; two are 11-19; ten are 20-29; six are 30-39; two are 40-49; seven are 50-59; nine are 60-69; seven are 70-79; one is 80-89.

Of the 8 new cases in the North County service area, one is 11-19; four are 20-29; one is 40-49; two are 50-59.

The 4 final cases are in an Undetermined area of the county.  Two are 40-49; one is 60-69; one is 90+.

TOTAL POSITIVE CASES –—–16,320

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Mohave County Department of Public Health staff review case information for accuracy and completeness.  There are a number of reasons for the adjustments, including the removal of cases that did not have a permanent address in Mohave County, reconciliation of cases reported twice or not originally reported, and removal of probable cases.
