MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 14, 2021) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 20 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Wednesday noon. There is also 1 new death.
The 1 new death is that of an 80-89 person in the Kingman service area.
Of the 20 new confirmed cases, there are 2 new cases in the Bullhead City service area. There are 11 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are 6 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There is 1 new case in the North County service area. There are 0 new cases in an Undetermined area of the county.
ALL 20 new confirmed cases remain under investigation.
Of the two new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area, one is 30-39 and one is 70-79.
Of the 11 new confirmed cases in the Kingman area, one is 0-10; one is 11-19; four are 20-29; one is 40-49; two are 50-59; one is 70-79; one is 80-89.
Of the 6 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, one is 20-29; one is 30-39; one is 40-49; two are 50-59; one is 60-69.
The final case is the solitary one in the North County area, a 20-29 person.
Great Progress in County Vaccinations
Total doses administered in Mohave County so far is 119,612. There is great news regarding the most vulnerable of our population. Approximately 72% of the 65+ population in the County has received at least one COVID-19 vaccination. Also, 41% of the 55-64 population has received at least one COVID-19 vaccinations. As of today, over 53,000 in the county are now fully vaccinated.

The Mohave County Department of Public Health has now allocated Pfizer vaccine to the following providers this week. Two doses are required and this vaccine can be administered to the 12-17 age group. In Mohave County, that is approximately 10,000 individuals.)
