BULLHEAD CITY–The 2018 Leadership Class of the Colorado River Women’s Council will be hosting a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, July 11 at 8 a.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of the Colorado River to unveil their class project.
“Every year the Leadership Class of the Colorado River Women’s Council is asked to perform a project,” said Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director John Pynakker. “This project goes to help the community as well as develop teamwork between class members.”
This year’s class spent time renovating the greenhouse at the club location.
Pynakker said the project was completed with the generous help of community businesses and individuals.
“They have recently completed turning this run down, ignored and generally beat up facility into a thriving, self-sufficient showpiece,” he said.
To celebrate, the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce in concert with the Colorado River Women’s Council and the Boys and Girls Club, will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil their work.
In addition, the ribbon cutting will also recognize the businesses and members of the community who helped the Leadership Class reach their goal of renovating the greenhouse.
The ribbon cutting is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
The club is located at 2250 Highland Road in Bullhead City.
