219 New COVID-19 Cases Since Monday at Noon
There Are Also 4 New Deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (September 15, 2021) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 219 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Monday at noon. There are also 4 new deaths.
Three of the deaths are previously reported positive cases from the Kingman service area. One is 40-49; one is 50-59; one is 60-69.
The 4th death is also one of the new cases being reported, a 50-59 person from the Bullhead City service area.
Of the 219 new cases, ALL remain under investigation.
Of the 219 new confirmed cases, there are 77 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City service area There are 112 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area. There are 26 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 2 new confirmed cases in the North County service area. There are 2 new cases in an Undetermined or Unknown area of the county.
Of the 77 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area, nine are 0-10; ten are 11-19; four are 20-29; nineteen are 30-39; nine are 40-49; twelve are 50-59(that includes the new case that is also a death mentioned above); twelve are 60-69; one is 70-79; one is 80-89.
Of the 112 new confirmed cases in the Kingman area, seventeen are 0-10; fifteen are 11-19; twenty-three are 30-39; twenty are 40-49; fourteen are 50-59; seven are 60-69; four are 70-79; one is 80-89.
Of the 26 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, two are 0-10; three are 11-19; four are 20-29; two are 30-39; five are 40-49; two are 50-59; two 60-69; four are 70-79; one is 80-89; one is 90+.
One of the 2 new confirmed cases in the North County area is 30-39 and one is 70-79.
One of the 2 new confirmed cases in an Undetermined/Unknown area of the county is 11-19 and one is 40-49.

Updated Local Information on
Reducing COVID-19 Hospitalizations
Early intervention with monoclonal antibody infusion therapy can shorten the duration of COVID-19 symptoms and reduce the risk of severe illness and hospitalization. This is becoming increasingly important as a surge of patients with the Delta variant continues to strain hospital resources.
The therapy is available to the following people:
- Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are within ten days of symptom onset
• Unvaccinated individuals who have had close contact with a COVID-positive person
• Vaccinated individuals who are immunocompromised and have had close contact with a COVID-positive person

COVID-19 Cases are on the rise in many parts of the U.S., including Mohave County. Well over 90% of all those who are hospitalized, were not vaccinated. The Mohave County Health Department continues to urge all residents to get fully vaccinated. At this point, Mohave County has under 40% vaccinated. If you haven’t been fully immunized yet, please help our county reach a much higher percentage of vaccinations. The Delta variant is here and hospitalizations have increased locally.

Pfizer Vaccine Now Available to
12-17 Year Olds in Mohave County
The Mohave County Department of Public Health has now allocated Pfizer vaccine to the following providers this week. Two doses are required and this vaccine can be administered to the 12-17 age group. In Mohave County, that is approximately 10,000 individuals.)

Riverside Pharmacy
- Lake Havasu City: Sunrise Pharmacy

Steps you can take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include:

- Stay at least 6 feet away from others who do not live with you
- Avoid crowds
- Avoid poorly ventilated spaces
- Wash your hands often
- Cover coughs and sneezes

- Monitor your health daily
