The Laughlin Chamber of Commerce proudly announces that our diverse and dedicated volunteer judges have been selected

The 23rd annual Community Achievement Awards recognizing individuals, businesses and organizations in the Colorado River Region is set for Saturday, October 24th. Event planning will be different than the last 22 years, but honoring these well-deserving heroes is still a must!
We have all witnessed the sacrifices made and services reinvented, the compassion and support of our citizens, and the creative initiative of the unassuming coming to the aide of others, and now more than ever they deserve recognition for their efforts.
“In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present.” -Francis Bacon
Though, we anticipate many event changes this year, we foresee an incredible affair that will ensure special recognition of the finalists and the award recipients with the prestigious crystal awards as they have in past years.
Nominations are open! Take a minute to nominate online at LaughlinChamber.com/CAA.
The official judges for the 23rd Annual Community Achievement Awards are as follows:
Head Judge and the 2019 Citizen of the Year
Matt Hanrahan, Baron Services
Representing Arizona
Ed Catalfamo, Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse
Dominic Dragone, Murphy Broadcasting
Representing Nevada
Jennifer Ronan, CIT Bank (Formerly Mutual of Omaha Bank)
Margaret Gabaldon, River Fund, Inc.
These volunteer judges will spend countless hours, over several weeks vetting tons of nominations! They will spend approximately 18 hours conducting 50+ interviews and then have the painstaking task of picking only one winner in each of the 16 categories. We are honored to be working with these fine community representatives and as always, we could not do it without them.
If you are interested in becoming a judge for the 24th Annual Community Achievement Awards you can email [email protected] with your request and consideration will be made in May 2021.
