MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (June 22, 2022) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 288 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at noon. There are also 6 deaths reported. Five are previously reported positive cases. One death is also one of today’s positive cases. Deaths are counted by the week of diagnosis and deaths by month may increase as there is often a lag between when a death occurs and when it is reported.)

COVID-19 transmission in Mohave County has progressed into the medium transmission category according to the CDC Dashboard. ADHS continues to review and audit case/death-related data, and as a result, numbers may fluctuate above or below previously reported.

Over the past month confirmed cases have begun to trend upward. Although there are currently no known direct transmission influences, increases in community events, large-scale gatherings, and travel may play a role in confirmed case trends.  There is a 14-day average of approximately 27 new confirmed cases per day.
