The Bee Team had the honor of joining the Cycle Disciples, the Guardians of the children, and of course Santa Claus on Christmas Eve as they traveled around the Kingman area making spirits bright. This years Christmas Run provided 15 families with a complete Christmas dinner, presents for the kids, and even a gift card for grocery’s. Not only did the group provide Christmas for 15 local families, they also made special stops at the Angel Manor and finished the day off at Desert Highlands.

The Cycle Disciples worked with local school principals as well as the local VA to select the families that were chosen for this years Run. This group of approximately 5 members has been working to gain funds to make this event happen.

Between car washes and garage sales from the help of Annies Attic, and private sponsors they were able to raise 3,000 dollars for this years Run. Cycle Disciples President Ceejay and his wife Julie had previously held the Christmas run in California for 10 years. When they moved to Mohave county they seen the need for the Christmas Run here. Without the generous donations and help from the community this wouldn’t be possible.

If you or someone you know may be interested in helping with next years Christmas Run please feel free to reach out to Ceejay or feel free to join the Cycle Disciples as they meet the third Thursday of every month at New Life Church Room #5 at 6pm.
