2nd Degree Murder

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrested Benjamin Clark Dann, 24 of Kingman, and Alfred Martin Talavera, 33 of Kingman, for felony 2nd Degree Murder. On January 14, 2018, the body of Kirklin Marcus Roach, 37 of Kingman, was discovered in the desert area near the Kingman Airport. On Tuesday (1/7) Benjamin Dann was arrested for unrelated probation violation warrants by Mohave County Probation,
US Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force, and the Kingman Police Department. Dann, along with Alfred Talavera, were suspects in the ongoing homicide investigation of Kirklin Roach. Dann was contacted by Detectives at the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility. Talavera was contacted by Detectives at a residence in the 2000 block of Devlin Ave. and interviewed regarding his involvement. After the conclusion
of the interviews, both Dann and Talavera were arrested on charges of 2nd Degree Murder. This investigation is ongoing.

On January 14, 2018, the deceased body of 37 year old Kirklin Marcus Roach was found out behind the
Kingman Airport. The cause of death has not yet been released. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is
asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information about this individual, is urged to call the Mohave
