Mohave College is powering workforce success from classroom to career. When employers and employees alike think about workforce readiness and professional growth in Mohave County, Mohave College isn’t just part of the conversation. It is leading it with purpose, innovation, and community roots that run deep.

With campuses in Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, and Colorado City, Arizona, the College’s corporate education and workforce training initiatives are designed to meet businesses where they are and help them go where they want to be.

At its core, Mohave College’s Corporate Training and Business Development programs provide customized professional development solutions for organizations and their employees. They are anchored in real-world relevance rather than textbook theory. From leadership development and communications workshops to process efficiency training, these offerings are thoughtfully structured to strengthen teams, support recruitment and retention, and enhance organizational performance.

Corporate Education isn’t “one size fits all.” Training can be delivered:

On-site at the employer’s location

On a Mohave College campus

In community venues

Online to fit flexible schedules

This adaptability means small businesses, mid-sized employers, and public agencies can partner with the College to tailor programs that align exactly with their workforce goals. That includes sharpening supervisory skills, bolstering customer service, or reinforcing safety standards.

Across the region, professionals from HR teams to hospitality staff are taking advantage of timely workshops. Recent offerings included a three-part HR leadership series in Lake Havasu and a hospitality success workshop in Bullhead City designed to help local employers improve service and strengthen internal teamwork.

In Kingman, Corporate Education has partnered directly with businesses and organizations to provide multi-week leadership development programs. This is a testament to the College’s community responsiveness and ability to co-design training that drives measurable impact.

Each campus contributes its own distinct strengths to Mohave College’s overarching mission:

Kingman (Neal Campus and downtown campus that shares space with the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce) anchors a broad mix of academic and workforce programs while serving as the home base for expanded training facilities.

Lake Havasu City Campus offers career training and a gateway to workshops that support local industries.

Bullhead City Campus brings workforce and community education closer to Colorado River businesses and residents.

Colorado City Campus connects northern Mohave County communities to professional development resources.

Whether through practical workshops, non-credit credentials, or collaborative training series, Mohave College’s corporate education programming is stitching together a resilient and skilled regional workforce. In a remarkable leap forward for workforce training, Mohave College opened its Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (AMTC) in Kingman in August 2025.

This 36,000-square-foot powerhouse of hands-on education is more than a building. It’s a launchpad for students, employers, and the regional economy.

Located at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park, the AMTC stands as a flagship Future48 Workforce Accelerator, part of a statewide effort to expand advanced manufacturing training through community colleges.

Inside, students and adult learners engage with industry-aligned instruction in:

Welding and fabrication

Heating, ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC)

Industrial maintenance

Robotics and automation

Computer-aided design (CAD)

Manufacturing fundamentals

The AMTC blends hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools, including labs, design studios, and collaborative innovation spaces. It is an educational environment that mirrors real industry floors and prepares learners for today’s workforce expectations.

But what truly makes this center a standout is its commitment to partnership. From the design of curricula to the scheduling of training that fit business timelines, the AMTC works shoulder-to-shoulder with industry leaders. Employers such as NUCOR Steel, Phoenix Truck Driving, Progressive Pipe Fabricators, and Air Control HVAC contribute real-world expertise and insights that help shape every aspect of the training experience.

Rather than a traditional academic silo, the AMTC is built to be a career bridge. It is one that connects education to employment and opportunity to success.

Corporate Education strengthens organizational leaders. The AMTC equips skilled technicians with the tools needed for high-demand careers. Together, they spotlight Mohave College as a regional force for workforce readiness and professional excellence.

Companies, large and small, are already seeing the benefits. From improved workplace effectiveness to ready-made talent pipelines that reduce recruitment lead times and help secure competitive advantage.

As Mohave College continues to innovate by expanding program offerings, deepening industry partnerships, and leveraging new facilities like the AMTC, Mohave County stands poised for even greater economic momentum. Whether you’re an employer seeking customized training or an individual ready to upskill, Mohave College’s corporate education ecosystem delivers tailored, practical solutions backed by decades of trust and deep community engagement.

In a world where workforce needs to evolve at lightning speed, Mohave College remains a steady, reliable partner. We are equipping people with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to fuel success for themselves, their families, and the communities they proudly call home.
