35 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Today

Plus 1 New Death

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (March 16, 2021) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 35 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today. There is also 1 new death from a previously reported positive case.

The 1 new death is an 80-89 person in the Lake Havasu City service area.

Of the 35 new confirmed cases, there are 5 new cases in the Bullhead City service area. There are 19 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 8 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are 2 new cases in the North County service area. There is 1 new cases in an Undetermined area of the county.

ALL 35 new confirmed cases remain under investigation.

Of the 19 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, two are 20-29; two are 40-49; two are 50-59; six are 60-69;  four are 70-79; three are 80-89.

Of the 8 new confirmed cases in the Kingman area, two are 11-19; one is 30-39; two are 40-49; two are 50-59; one is 60-69.

Of the five new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area, one is 0-10; one is 11-19; one is 20-29; two are 30-39.

The 2 new confirmed cases in the North County area are 11-19 and 50-59.

The single new confirmed case in a specifically Undetermined area of the county is 30-39.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Mohave County Department of Public Health staff review case information for accuracy and completeness.  There are a number of reasons for the adjustments, including the removal of cases that did not have a permanent address in Mohave County, reconciliation of cases reported twice or not originally reported, and removal of probable cases.

Steps you can take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include:

ü  Stay at least 6 feet away from others who do not live with you

ü  Avoid crowds

ü  Avoid poorly ventilated spaces

ü  Wash your hands often

ü  Cover coughs and sneezes
