$50,000 Donation from Scott Preston and Preston Investments to local theater project

Kingman Center For The Arts and the Beale Street Theater Renovation Project is delighted to announce a  $50,000 Donation from Scott Preston and Preston Investments.

Scott Preston has been a consistent benefactor of Kingman Center For The Arts, supporting their fundraising efforts for many years.

Design plans are available online at www.bealestreettheater.com.

Michael Taylor is the architect for the project. Stages, Inc is the staging consultant. T. R. Orr is teaming up with Angle Homes to handle the general contracting.

So far, the inside of the theater has been gutted and a new framework put in. The sign and the windows of the exterior have been renovated, and the roof has been repaired.

Scott Preston’s generous donation will allow going forward with the 2023 following goals:

Goal 1: Complete all demolition and interior framing

Goal 2: Install all equipment roof curbs and mechanical roof penetrations

Goal 3: Install windows and doors at the front elevation and west side elevation

Goal 4: Complete interior concrete ramps

The Kingman Center For The Arts is 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 2016.

Its mission is to establish and enrich the culture and community of Kingman, AZ, through art-related education, performances, and venues.

KCA currently operates the following programs:
The Beale Street Theater is a community theater program and performing arts venue (under renovation).

The Kingman Center for the Arts (formerly called the Art Hub), is a community art gallery, education center, and art retail space.

Disney Musicals in Schools is a program that brings live theater to rural elementary schools in Kingman and the surrounding area.
