512 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Since Friday Noon in Mohave County

512 New COVID-19 Cases Reported

Since Friday Noon

Plus 13 New Deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (February 1, 2021) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 512 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Friday at noon. There are also 13 new deaths reported.

Of the 13 new deaths, ALL of them resulted from previous confirmed cases. Six are from the Bullhead City service area. One is 60-69; one is 70-79; four are 80-89.

Four deaths are from the Kingman service area. Three are 70-79; one is 90+.

Three deaths are from the Lake Havasu City service area. One is 50-50; one is 70-79; one is 80-89.

Of the 512 new confirmed cases, there are 324 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are     103 new cases in the Bullhead City service area There are 82 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 3 new cases in the North County service area. There are 0 new cases in an Undetermined area of the county.

Of the 103 Bullhead City area cases, 98 remain under investigation. Seven are 0-10; ten are 11-19; sixteen are 20-29; fourteen are 30-39; twelve are 40-49; seven are 50-59; twenty-one are 60-69; eight are 70-79; three are 80-89.  The remaining 5 Bullhead City area cases are ALL recovering at home and are linked to another case. One is 0-10; one is 50-59; two are 60-69; one is 70-79.

Of the 324 new cases in the Kingman area, 271 of them are recovering at home and are linked to another confirmed case.  Like Friday’s case count for Kingman, most of these are from a large congregate setting.  Of the 271 recovering at home, thirty-three are 20-29; sixty are 30-39; sixty-one are 40-49; fifty-nine are 50-59; thirty-three are 60-69; thirteen are 70-79; five are 80-89.

Sixty of the 334 new Kingman area cases are still under investigation. Five are 0-10; six are 11-19; seven are 20-29; six are 30-39; nine are 40-49; twelve are 50-59; seven are 60-69; seven are 70-79; one is 80-89.

Of the 82 new cases in the Lake Havasu City area, 78 are still under investigation. Two are 0-10; ten are 11-19; six are 20-29; seven are 30-39; five are 40-49; ten are 50-59; seventeen are 60-69; fifteen are 70-79; eight are 80-89; two are 90+. The final four Lake Havasu City area cases are all 80-89, who are recovering at home and are linked to another confirmed case.

The last three new cases are in the North County area. ALL are still under investigation.  One is 50-59; one is 60-69; one is 70-79.

TOTAL RECOVERED: 10,761

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Embry is giving Vaccinations in Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, and Kingman at each of the Mohave Community College campuses for the 75 Years & Older sub-category in Phase 1B. They join other providers in those three cities. Individuals Must Have an Appointment to get a shot.

Extra help is in place with our County COVID Call Center for the 75 Years & Older sub-category who do not have access to the Internet and/or a computer. Those individuals can now register for the Embry sites and get the appointment set up with Embry ONLY by calling this special number   928-753-8665.  The call center will also answer any other questions on COVID-19.  There are 6 people answering the calls, so please be patient. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Mohave County Department of Public Health staff review case information for accuracy and completeness.  There are a number of reasons for the adjustments, including the removal of cases that did not have a permanent address in Mohave County, reconciliation of cases reported twice or not originally reported, and removal of probable cases.
