54 New COVID-19 Cases Since Friday at Noon

There is 1 New Death

20,929 Total Positives / 643 Total Deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (June7, 2021) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 54 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since Friday at noon. There is also 1 new death.

The one new death is a 60-69 person, a previously reported positive case in the Bullhead City service area.

ALL 54 new cases remain under investigation.

Of the 54 new confirmed cases, there are 23 new cases in the Bullhead City service area. There are 14 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are 15 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 2 new cases in the North County service area. There are 0 new cases in an Undetermined or unknown area of the county.

Of the 23 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area, one is 0-10; three are 11-19; two are 20-29; five are 30-39; four are 40-49; two are 50-59; six are 60-69.

Of the 14 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area, one is 0-10; five are 20-29; three are 40-49; three are 50-59; two are 60-69.

Of the 15 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, two are 11-19; four are 20-29; two are 30-39; three are 40-49; two are 50-59; one is 60-69; one is 90+.

One of the two North County confirmed cases is 50-59 and one is 60-69.

 Pfizer Vaccine Now Available to

12-17 Year Olds in Mohave County

The Mohave County Department of Public Health has now allocated Pfizer vaccine to the following providers this week. Two doses are required and this vaccine can be administered to the 12-17 age group. In Mohave County, that is approximately 10,000 individuals.)

  • Kingman:                Uptown Drug
  • Bullhead City:         DeeFlat Pharmacy

                                            Riverside Pharmacy

  • Lake Havasu City:  Sunrise Pharmacy

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Mohave County Department of Public Health staff review case information for accuracy and completeness.  There are a number of reasons for the adjustments, including the removal of cases that did not have a permanent address in Mohave County, reconciliation of cases reported twice or not originally reported, and removal of probable cases.

Steps you can take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include:

ü  Stay at least 6 feet away from others who do not live with you

ü  Avoid crowds

ü  Avoid poorly ventilated spaces

ü  Wash your hands often

ü  Cover coughs and sneezes
