65 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Today in Mohave County

65 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Today

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (February 12, 2021) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 65 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today. There are NO new deaths.

Of the 65 new confirmed cases, there are 28 new cases in the Bullhead City service area.

There are 21 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are 16 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 0 new cases in the North County service area. There are 0 new cases in an Undetermined area of the county.

Of the 28 new confirmed case in the Bullhead City area, 27 of them remain under investigation.  Four are 0-10; one is 11-19; two are 20-29; one is 3-39; two are 40-49; five are 50-59; six are 60-69; four are 70-79; two are 80-89. The 28th and final Bullhead City area case is a 0-10 person, who is recovering at home and is linked to another case.

ALL of the remaining cases are still under investigation.

Of the 21 new confirmed cases in the Kingman area, one is 0-10; four are 11-19; three are 20-29; two are 30-39; four are 40-49; three are 50-59; two are 70-79; two are 80-89.

Of the 16 confirmed new cases in the Lake Havasu City area, one is 20-29; four are 40-49; one is 50-59; three are 60-69; five are 70-79; one is 80-89; one is 90+.

TOTAL POSITIVE CASES –—–18,430

TOTAL RECOVERED: 11,862

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Mohave County Department of Public Health staff review case information for accuracy and completeness.  There are a number of reasons for the adjustments, including the removal of cases that did not have a permanent address in Mohave County, reconciliation of cases reported twice or not originally reported, and removal of probable cases.

Steps you can take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include:

ü  Wear a mask over your nose and mouth

ü  Stay at least 6 feet away from others who do not live with you

ü  Avoid crowds

ü  Avoid poorly ventilated spaces

ü  Wash your hands often

ü  Cover coughs and sneezes

ü  Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces

ü  Stay home if you feel sick

ü  Monitor your health daily
