70 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Today

PLUS 7 New Deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (February 4, 2021) — The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 70 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today. There are also 7 new deaths.

ALL of the 7 deaths resulted from previous cases. Three deaths are from the Bullhead City service area.  Of those, one is 50-59; one is 70-79; one is 80-89.

Three new deaths are from the Lake Havasu City service area. All of them are 70-79.

The seventh new death is from the Kingman service area and is 60-69.

Of the 70 new confirmed cases, there are 26 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 22 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are 20 new cases in the Bullhead City service area, There are 0 new cases in the North County service area. There are 2 new cases in an Undetermined area of the county.

ALL of the 26 new cases in the Lake Havasu area are still under investigation.  One is 11-19; one is 20-29; three are 30-39; one is 40-49; one is 50-59; six are 60-69; eight are 70-79; four are 80-89; one is 90+.

Of the 22 new cases in the Kingman area, 19 are still under investigation. Three are 0-10; three are 20-29; three are 30-39; one is 50-59; three are 60-69; four are 70-79; two are 80-89.  The other three new cases are recovering at home and are linked to another case.  One is 20-29; one is 60-69; one is 90+.

Seventeen of the 20 new cases in the Bullhead City area remain under investigation.  Two are 0-10; two are 11-19; four are 30-39; three are 40-49; three are 70-79; two are 80-89; one is 90+. The remaining three cases are recovering at home and are linked to another case. One is 0-10; one is 40-49; one is 50-59.

The final two cases are still being investigated in an Undetermined area of the county. One is 40-49 and one is 60-69.

TOTAL RECOVERED: 11,435

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Embry is giving Vaccinations in Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, and Kingman at each of the Mohave Community College campuses for the 75 Years & Older sub-category in Phase 1B. They join other providers in those three cities. Individuals Must Have an Appointment to get a shot.

Extra help is in place with our County COVID Call Center for the 75 Years & Older sub-category who do not have access to the Internet and/or a computer. Those individuals can now register for the Embry sites and get the appointment set up with Embry ONLY by calling this special number   928-753-8665.  The call center will also answer any other questions on COVID-19.  There are 6 people answering the calls, so please be patient. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Mohave County Department of Public Health staff review case information for accuracy and completeness.  There are a number of reasons for the adjustments, including the removal of cases that did not have a permanent address in Mohave County, reconciliation of cases reported twice or not originally reported, and removal of probable cases.
