Have you ever wanted to dance across the London Bridge? .

The line dance scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 2020, at 2:30, will be your last opportunity to dance on the bridge. Let’s celebrate the nine years on the bridge by setting a record and filling the bridge for our farewell dance.

We were informed today that Lake Havasu City will no longer issue permission to close the bridge for special events.

The Havasu Community Health Foundation supports their decision of a necessary safe egress and ingress for those on the Island and we look forward to our new venue in 2021.

Temporary Road Closure for Annual Line Dance on the London Bridge

This Sunday, February 23, the London Bridge is closed to thru traffic from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., for the Havasu Community Health Foundation’s Annual Line Dance on the London Bridge special event. Beginning at 2:15 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department clears the London Bridge of pedestrians and traffic. Turn restrictions at the McCulloch Boulevard and Lake Havasu Avenue intersection are in place during that timeframe.

Drivers are encouraged to schedule trips to and from the Island prior to or after the event to avoid unnecessary delays. Please exercise additional caution when traveling in these areas, and pay special attention to all signage, markings, volunteers and law enforcement.

For more information, please visit the event’s official website at https://havasucommunityhealth.org/page/linedanceregistration
