Aggravated Assault Arrest

Bullhead City Police arrested Larry Juan Lozano Jr., 25 of Mohave Valley, AZ, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, misconduct involving a weapon- prohibited possessor, and assisting a criminal street gang.

Police were recently notified of a shooting that occurred on October 17th in the backyard of a residence in the 1800 block of Monterey Drive. No one was injured. After further investigation, it was learned that Larry Lozano reportedly pointed a 9mm pistol at a male victim, threatened him, and discharged the weapon once into the ground in the victim’s direction. The incident was apparently associated with a dispute over money owed for illegal drugs.

On October 27, police arrested Lozano after a short foot pursuit with GIITEM and MAGNET detectives in the 2500 block of Country Club Drive. Lozano is a documented criminal street gang member. During apprehension, he pulled his loaded 9mm out of his waistband. Lozano was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
