**Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer and Felony Resisting Arrest**

On Friday, December 9th at about 10:45am, the Kingman Police Department arrested Jesse Michael Yamaguchi, 37 of Kingman, on felony charges of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer and Felony Resisting Arrest in the 600blk of East Beale Street. On December 8th at 1:45am a traffic stop was attempted on Yamaguchi and he fled the scene. On December 9th at 4:40am officers attempted to contact Yamaguchi who was inside of his vehicle in a parking lot in the 300blk of East Beale street. Yamaguchi reversed the vehicle striking two officers and fled the scene again. At 10:45am officers responded to the 600blk of East Beale Street to attempt contact with Yamaguchi about the prior cases. Yamaguchi was contacted and told he was under arrest when he began actively resisting, kicking two of the responding officers. Yamaguchi was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer x4, Felony Unlawful Flight from Law Enforcement x2 and Felony Resisting Arrest. The four officers received minor injuries not requiring medical attention.
