Dog Bite

Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog and owner for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.
On Monday, September 28 at about 6 p.m., a dog bit a victim on her leg while she was riding her bicycle with her daughter on Kalil Drive. A lady who was with the dog pointed to the house where she lived and told the victim she’d pay for medical bills if she didn’t report the bite to police. ACW went to the residence for follow up, and neither the female nor the dog lives there.

The dog is described as a large, brown or red pitbull. Its owner was a woman, medium build, approximately 5’7” with brown hair. ACW officers searched the area, but the dog has not yet been located. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference #20-05883.
