BULLHEAD CITY, AZ., March 23, 2023 – No Joke! The City of Bullhead City is pleased to announce The Bullhead Area Transit System will operate free of charge on Saturday, April 1, in conjunction with the Laughlin Bullhead Air Show.

“No one asked us to do it,” said Transit Manager Michael Peluso. “We realized there would be a whole lot of people needing transportation around town that day and figured there’s no better time to encourage people to try Bullhead Transit.”

All day long, passengers will be treated to free rides throughout Bullhead City on the Red, Blue, Green, and Orange fixed routes and the pre-qualified Dial-A-Ride paratransit service. This Free Ride Day will give the community an opportunity to familiarize themselves with all of the services Bullhead Area Transit System offers.

According to the American Public Transportation Association, every $1 invested in public transportation generates $5 in economic returns. Additionally, a household can save nearly $10,000 per year by using public transportation and living with one less car.

The city encourages everyone to learn more about Bullhead transportation services by visiting bullheadcity.com or contacting the Bullhead Area Transit System dispatch office at (928) 704-2287.
