Arizona Has Nearly Half a Billion Total Event Wagering Handle in December 2021

The Arizona Department of Gaming released the event wagering and fantasy sports revenue reports for the month of December today. During the month, Arizona had nearly half a billion in total wagers, further displaying a strong market in the state. “With a new record for total wagers and payouts this December, I am excited to see the continued strong start to the state’s event wagering & fantasy sports market,” said Ted Vogt, Director, ADG.

“I look forward to seeing the benefits to Arizona as the market further develops.” Arizona operators accepted over $499 million dollars in wagers during the month of December, resulting in approximately $1.7 million dollars in privilege fees contributed to the state.
