On Thursday (6/10) at 5:23 PM, Deputies and Detectives with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to a business in the 4200 block of W. Highway 68 in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, Deputies observed fresh shoe impressions leading from the business out into the desert area. As troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) assisted with a perimeter, deputies and
detectives began following the shoe impressions through the desert.

While following the tracks, clothing that the suspect was reportedly wearing during the robbery was found. The shoe impressions ultimately led to a residence located in the 3700 block of Hope Rd., approximately one mile from the business. Upon approaching the property, a male and female were seen leaving out the back side of the property. Contact was made and the two subjects were detained. The investigation revealed that the male subject, Cole Patrick Jennings-Wallace,24 of Golden Valley, had entered the business and brandished a handgun.

Jennings-Wallace pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register. Jennings- Wallace obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot, walking to the residence in the 3700 block of Hope Rd. A search warrant was obtained and a search of a trailer on the property where Jennings-Wallace had been staying was conducted. During the search, the shoes that matched the shoe impressions leading from the business to the residence were located, along with the described handgun, which was loaded, and the amount of money that had been taken.

Jennings-Wallace was transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility where he was booked for Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault,
both felonies. Jennings-Wallace was additionally booked for Theft of Means of Transportation in an unrelated investigation.
