BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – November 25, 2020 – Bullhead City Police arrested Daniel Rae Wilson, 40, on numerous charges including aggravated assault against two officers and felony drug possession. This morning at 7:15 a.m., police were called to the 1900 block of Clearwater Drive for a domestic violence incident. It was reported that Wilson was involved in an argument with his girlfriend and was breaking items and damaging property. Prior to police arrival, Wilson had fled the residence.

Officers located him in the area and he ran from police, jumping over several fences. He actively resisted police arrest and a taser was deployed. The taser did not affect Wilson and he continued to run from police. An officer stopped him again in a residential yard and he continued to refuse to comply with the officer’s order and was extremely aggressive. The officer administered OC/pepper spray three times, which was also ineffective in stopping Wilson. Wilson attempted to gain entry into a private residence, but was unsuccessful. He was tased again, but continued to actively fight with two officers, injuring them.

It was later learned that Wilson had two confirmed felony arrest warrants and had approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine and a syringe in his pockets. Wilson was transported to the hospital for a medical clearance and had to be restrained due to his violent behavior.

He was arrested for aggravated assault of law enforcement, resisting arrest, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, disorderly conduct per domestic violence, and criminal damage. Wilson was later transported to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
