Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Monte Brooks Eikleberry, 46 of Kingman, for Dangerous Drug Possession and Drug Paraphernalia Possession, both felonies, and an active arrest warrant. On October 23, 2021 at 1:06 AM, deputies were on patrol in the area of E Camp Mohave Rd. and Highway 95 when they observe a red sedan stopped at a red light.

Deputies observed that the rear turn signal was broken and conducted a records check, which showed an expired license plate since August 2018. A traffic stop was conducted and deputies approached the vehicle, which was occupied by a male driver, later identified as Eikleberry, and a female passenger. When asked for the required documents, Eikleberry
advised he did not have the registration or insurance for the vehicle and provided deputies with an expired driver’s license.

A records check revealed that Eikleberry also had an active arrest warrant and he was detained. During a pat search, deputies located a clear plastic baggie with 4.3 grams of methamphetamine in his left pocket. No illegal items were located inside the vehicle and the female passenger was released from the scene. Monte Brooks Eikleberry was transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman without incident.
