GOLDEN VALLEY AZ — Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested George Thaveesakda Shean, 50 of Golden Valley, for one felony charge of Criminal Damage per Domestic Violence, and Assault per Domestic Violence and Disorderly Conduct, both misdemeanors.

On Friday (8/16) at approximately 4 PM, deputies received a call from a female subject advising of a domestic violence incident in progress. Deputies responded to the residence in the 2800 block of McConnico Rd. in Golden Valley and entered the residence and could hear a female subject crying inside a bedroom. As deputies approached the room, they observed a male subject, identified as Shean, approaching them from their left. Verbal commands were given for Shean to stop, which he ignored, and continued to advance. Deputies removed their taser and continued to give Shean verbal commands to stop, to which he complied, and was detained. Deputies observed damage to the interior of the residence, and was advised that Shean had caused the damage when he became agitated at one of the victims.

Deputies interviewed the two victims, who advised that they had locked themselves inside a bedroom when Shean began pounding on the door, eventually breaking it, and entered the room and began assaulting both of the victims. One was able to get away and call 911. George Thaveesakda Shean was arrested and booked into Mohave County Adult Detention Facility without further incident.
