Attempted Homicide Update

On Wednesday evening (1/6), Detectives with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office were following up on the shooting that occurred on December 30, 2020 in the 2700 block of E. Carver Ave.  During the course of the investigation, Detectives learned that the suspect, Eustolio Gill, 36 of Kingman, was possibly in the Mesa area.  Detectives identified the hotel Gill was hiding out at and made contact with the Mesa Police Department Violent Offender Unit.  With the assistance of the Mesa Police Department, Gill was taken into custody at a Mesa hotel without incident.  Gill was booked for Attempted First Degree Murder in relationship to this investigation.  The victim that was shot during this incident remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
