BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – June 6, 2023 – The Bullhead City Police Department is actively investigating an attempted homicide case where a 16-year-old male victim was shot.
On Monday, June 5 at approximately 10:40 p.m., police were called to Rotary Park for a report of a drive-by shooting near the Firebird Football fields. The victim’s friends immediately drove him to Valley View Medical Center emergency room in Fort Mohave. The victim was shot in the head and stomach and later flown to a Las Vegas, NV hospital in critical condition.
It was reported that a dark colored vehicle drove by and shot several rounds towards a group of teenagers who were reportedly in the parking lot listening to music. No other injuries were reported.

This incident is being handled as a top priority ongoing investigation. No other information will be released at this time.
