The Chamber of Commerce is set to host the monthly after-hours mixer featuring Lake Havasu City Educators on Thursday, August 18. The business community will
mingle with local educators from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at The Nautical Beachfront Resort in the Convention Center at 1000 McCulloch Blvd.

A focus area for the Chamber is workforce development. Working closely with education helps develop a better employee base for the city. “With over 70 new teachers plus the returning instructors, business and education collaboration makes the community a great place to live and work,” says Kathy Tippett, Chamber VP Operations.

Chamber businesses will provide info about products and services along with several giveaways. Admission is $5; LHC educators complimentary. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
