Bars join lawsuit to sue Governor Ducey over Executive order

Bars from around Arizona have joined a lawsuit to sue the Governor’s office for unlawful use of police power under the constitution. The issue the bar owners have isn’t that they were forced to close, but rather that the state legislature isn’t the one that ordered it.  The state legislators have that power and cannot constitutionally delegate it to the governor.  One of the bars listed as a petitioner is Jesters of Bullhead City.  If these 20 bars involved in the suit are successful, the reversal of the orders would effect all Arizona bars.
