On Friday, July 17, 2020, at approximately 10:45 PM BCFD units E711, M711, M751, Battalion 7 responded for a reported rollover with two people ejected in the 1700 block of Newberry Drive. Arriving crews located a single pickup truck that had rolled multiple times after launching over the hill, ripping the driver’s front tire off of the vehicle. Two males were ejected from the vehicle; both males had suffered serious trauma and were deemed critical. Both patients were transported to WARMC ER, where they were stabilized and then taken by helicopter to trauma centers in Las Vegas. No further information is available at this time.
While responding to the rollover accident, BCFD M751 came upon a motorcycle that was fully involved with fire just south of Retail Way with one male rider that was pronounced deceased on scene. It appears that the motorcycle possibly rear-ended another vehicle and burst into flames. Engine 751’s crew extinguished the fire while M751’s crew assisted additional patients inside of the vehicle transporting one of the patients to WARMC with minor injuries. All BCFD units cleared, and the scene was turned over to the Bullhead City Police Department for further investigation.
