BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City School District has begun the process of updating the
software program known as Synergy used by students, parents and employees, for information
management, registration and other tasks. BCSD’s update is tied to the ongoing separation of
shared technology services with the Colorado River Union High School District (CRUHSD).
The transition and upgrade means that parents who have not yet done so will be unable to
register BCSD students for the new school year until school offices reopen on July 10. It also
means that in the future, parents with students in both BCSD and CRUHSD will need to log in
separately for each district.
“With the school year over and summer school classes ending this week, it is important to
complete the transition before the new school year begins,” said Jennifer Lott, BCSD’s director of
educational services. “While this change will cause a temporary disruption this summer, it will
allow more flexibility in the future. “
BCSD parents should be able to access ParentVue accounts until June 20, and then again
after upgrades are complete. ParentVue is a Synergy portal that gives parents and students
access to grades, assignments, and communication with teachers.
BCSD’s 2023-2024 school year begins on July 31 following a nine week summer break.
