Beale Street Theater is excited to present our youth theater production of The Big Bad Musical! The dates are June 8th, 9th, and 16th at 6PM and June 17th at 10AM, 11:30AM, and 6PM. They will take place at Metcalfe Park, 315 E Beale St. in Kingman, Arizona. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 4-11 years old. Bring your chairs or blankets, friends and family and join us for a fun evening of live theater, all outdoors.
The Big Bad Musical is an outdoor family musical theater event! Directed by Sidney Valdez with Student Directors Adam Michelson and June Stehly, The Big Bad Musical is a smart and wickedly funny musical and is great for audiences of any age. The jury —all attendees — must decide the outcome of the biggest trial ever in the fairy-tale world! The notorious Big Bad Wolf is being slapped with a class-action lawsuit by storybooks of quirky characters who want to get even: Little Red Riding Hood, her Grandmother, the Three Little Pigs, and the Shepherd in charge of the Boy Who Cried Wolf. With Sydney Grimm as the commentator on live Court TV, the two greatest legal minds in the Enchanted Forest — the Evil Stepmother and the Fairy Godmother — clash in a trial that will be remembered forever after. As our wronged fairy tale characters testify, the wolf seems deserving of all that’s coming. Yet, Mr. Wolf makes a good case for himself. Was he born a criminal, or made one? This musical has it all — audience participation, multiple endings to make every performance unique, and Bill Francoeur’s toe-tapping tunes!
