LAUGHLIN–Delicious pancakes were served up to the community by volunteers from the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of the Colorado River Saturday during the Laughlin River Run.
The club partnered with DalCon and the Riverside Resort for the second annual Laughlin River Run Pancake Breakfast.
“Over 400 plates were served and everyone left full and ready to ride,” said BGCCR CEO Autumn Boyle-Robinson. “We love meeting people who come to visit our community for events like the Laughlin River Run, so many of the visitors have a connection to the Boys & Girls Club and they always love meeting the kids! We are so appreciative of DalCon and the Riverside Resort for taking on this wonderful event in support of our Clubhouses. Partnerships like this are the glue that keeps this community so tight”
Boyle-Robinson said the event raised over $3,000 which will benefit local youth development programs.
The Riverside Resort provided the food, location and staff for the event donating all proceeds to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River. Club Kids bussed tables, chatted with patrons, and encouraged people to come enjoy pancakes by dancing in pancake costumes.
