BHHS Legacy Foundation Christine Stamper Center for Help & Hope will be opening for overnight stays for those experiencing homelessness on Aug. 1

The Legacy Foundation Christine Stamper Center for Help & Hope, operated by Catholic Charities, is excited to announce it is opening for overnight shelter starting August 1, 2021. We sincerely appreciate the community’s outpouring of support for volunteer and staff positions.

We continue to need any volunteers who are interested in helping us serve the most vulnerable in our community. Beginning July 14, 2021, we are expanding our services to include a cooling station from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in addition to day services from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. We are focused on prioritizing the hottest hours of the day to provide lifesaving supplies and assistance.
