Bomb threats in Lake Havasu

1st Bomb Threat LHCPD was notified around 6:50 am of a threat of an explosive device at Home Depot. Officers responded along with other personnel to evacuate the area. The LHCPD Bomb Squad responded and searched the building and surrounding area. Nothing suspicious was located. The threat does not appear to be credible, however all precautions were taken. Home Depot has reopened. 

2nd Bomb Threat LHCPD responded to a second threat at approximately 10am at PetSmart this morning. A search of the facility did not turn up anything suspicious and the business was turned back over to employees.

Both bomb threats are still under investigation by LHCPD.
