Bullhead Area Transit System Partnering with Southern Nevada Transit Coalition – Silver Rider, Laughlin

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ. – The Bullhead Area Transit Systems and Southern Nevada Transit Coalition (SNTC), operators of Silver Rider Transit in Laughlin, will be offering a joint free ride day on both public transit systems on Thursday, February 10, 2022. This free ride day is to kick off a partnership between the two transit agencies to enhance rider ability to get to their needed services both in the Bullhead City and in the Laughlin, NV area. Beginning Friday, February 11, 2022, the Bullhead Area Transit Day Pass and SNTC’s 24-hour pass will be accepted on both services.

Bullhead Area Transit System has been in service more than 21 years providing Bullhead City residents and visitors with a fixed route service, complementary ADA Paratransit service, and the Senior Transit service.

The Southern Nevada Transit Coalition has provided service in the area for more than 19 years. Silver Rider specializes in providing public transit in 13 rural southern Nevada communities. Additionally, Silver Rider operates the Meals on Wheels Program in Laughlin and Searchlight.

This Free Ride Day is a great opportunity to showcase both local transit systems and will allow residents and visitors from both communities who have never used the services an opportunity to try it out, free of charge.
