Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for two dogs for standard quarantine procedures after a dog attack. On November 9th, ACW was called to a report of a dog bite that occurred outside Dockside Liquor Store in the 400 block of Hancock Road. A 68-year-old man was walking his own dog when two dogs started charging at him. One of the dogs bit the victim on his arms several times. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.

Both dogs appear to be brown in color and possible a Chow/ heeler type breed. The dogs followed a man east on Hancock Road after the incident. The man, possibly the dogs’ owner, was a white male adult, in his 40s+, about 5’9 – 5’10”, scruffy brown hair, wearing a yellow shirt.

ACW patrolled the area but have not located the dogs. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference report# 21-32298.
