Dog Bite

Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for two dogs for standard quarantine procedures.

On Thursday, March 25 at about 12:30 p.m., ACW was called to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for a 34-year-old woman who was being treated for injuries from a dog bite. The victim reported that she was jogging about one mile east off the Bullhead Parkway on Silver Creek Road, when two dogs attacked her. A truck driver in the area stopped and helped her.

One dog is described as a Pitbull/Shepherd type dog, brown and tan color (Rottweiler markings). The second dog is described as a Shepherd mix, black and tan color (Rottweiler markings). One reportedly had a blue collar on.

ACW officers searched the area, but the dogs have not yet been located. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference report# 21-08194.
