Earlier this week, a man reported that someone came to his house claiming to be from a satellite TV company to conduct a “free” update for $12. When then man came into his house, the resident became suspicious and took a photo of the man. The man got angry and quickly left. This incident is under investigation by detectives. According to the satellite TV company, they did not send anyone to his residence and only conduct house calls when the customer contacts them.

If you are approached by someone soliciting a service or selling merchandise, and they don’t have a license or refuse to show you the license, report it to the Bullhead City Police Department at (928) 763-9200. Peddlers are required to have a Bullhead City peddler’s license and to wear a photo ID card on the outside of their clothes.
