BULLHEAD CITY, AZ., May 9, 2023 – Bullhead City is gearing up to host its annual Summer Camp Series, and time is running out for parents to register their kids. The Summer Camp Series, which runs from May 28 to June 28, offers over 30 different camp options catering to a wide range of children’s interests, including sports, science, art, performing arts, culinary arts, and more.

“We’ve brought back last year’s Summer Camp Series and made it even better,” exclaimed Bullhead City Senior Recreation Supervisor Claire Adams. “Our most popular camps are back, including Track and Field camp, Theater Camp, Soccer Camps, and more. We’re also adding some really exciting new camps that we think kids will love, such as the Ultimate Sports Camp, where kids will have a blast playing dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee, and other kid-favorite games.”

Bullhead City’s Summer Camp Series provides a fun and educational environment for kids to learn, play, socialize, exercise, and make new friends. Each camp is led by talented specialists who will provide excellent instruction to camp participants.

“We’ve worked hard to assemble a great lineup of camp instructors this year,” Adams said. “Every camp has top-notch instruction provided by leaders with an infectious passion for their camp. Kids who are already excited for summer camp will leave satisfied, and those who are unsure will leave with newfound enthusiasm.”

The Summer Camp Series will be held primarily in the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse, with basketball and volleyball camps held at Mohave High School, and Charcuterie Board Building camps held at the Bullhead Belle.

Parents are encouraged to sign their kids up for the Summer Camp Series before May 23, the deadline to register for the first set of camps that start on May 28. Space for each Summer Camp is limited and provided on a first-come-first-served basis.

“The deadline to sign up for each camp, is the week before it takes place,” explained Adams. “We highly recommend signing up as soon as possible. Some camps have already filled.”

Morning and afternoon summer camps can be bundled to provide a full day of fun for kids and peace of mind for parents. Morning camps typically start at 9 a.m. and end at noon, while evening camps typically start at noon and end between 2 and 3 p.m. Each camp is unique, and ideal bundle options can be found by viewing the Community Calendar at bullheadcity.com/recdesk.

“Bundling a morning and evening camp is a great option for parents who need uninterrupted time to work or focus,” said Adams. “It allows parents to let their kids learn, play, and grow while giving themselves the uninterrupted time they need.”

The costs for Summer Camps start at $30, with prices varying for each camp. The complete list of every session of the more than 30 Summer Camp options, who is leading each camp, the price of each session, and the complete schedule is available online at bullheadcity.com/recdesk.
