Rest In Peace
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bullhead City Vice Mayor Kathy Bruck. Kathy passed away peacefully last evening at the age of 71. On Thursday, Kathy had a stroke and was not able to recover. Pink roses adorned the Council dais on Tuesday evening where she normally sat. Kathy was a true advocate for senior citizens, but was also proud to support law enforcement, parks, public works and other city initiatives close to her heart.
Kathy volunteered for many causes. She loved the Backpack Buddies program, Eastern Star organization, Meals and Wheels, Senior Nutrition program and so many other worthy causes. Kathy will be missed by so many people in the community. A celebration of life service is being planned. The City Council will be appointing a new Vice Mayor at its next meeting. Later, the City Council will appoint a new community member to fill the position.
