Bullhead Fire was chosen as a Community Development Block Grant Recipient

Bullhead City, AZ – The Bullhead Fire Department was recently chosen as a grant recipient of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). This grant is a federally funded program that allows selected applicants to obtain funds to address a wide variety of community needs. In order to be successful, we need your assistance. During March, if you live near/around District Six (2025 Clearwater Dr.), our crews and CERT team members will be out conducting a special survey required by the State of Arizona. These completed surveys will allow our department to obtain the CDBG grant funds, which will assist with the purchase of a new Type 1 Medic Unit (Ambulance) that will provide emergency assistance to District 6 and surrounding areas.

We are committed to our community and believe together; we are stronger. If you have questions or would like additional information regarding the CDBG, please contact Assistant Chief Scott Neal at 928-758-3971.
