Burglary x2, Resisting Arrest and Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer x2

On Monday, April 24th at about 5:25pm, the Kingman Police Department arrested David Rulon Pledger, 42 area vagrant on two counts of Burglary in the 3rdDegree, Resisting Arrest and two counts of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer.  Officers responded to a business in the 400blk of Old Highway 66 for a report of a burglary in progress.  Upon arrival officers located Pledger rummaging through a vehicle inside of the locked and fenced commercial yard.  While speaking with Pledger he said that he owned the property, when being taken into custody Pledger tried to elbow an officer and was tased.  After being arrested, Pledger kicked an officer twice while being placed in a patrol vehicle.  Neither officer was injured, Pledger was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on the listed charges.
