Burn Ban Update

Bullhead City AZ – Mohave County implemented Stage II fire restrictions that began on May 12, 2020, banning all outdoor fires, campfires and permissible consumer fireworks on private and public lands in the county’s unincorporated areas. The Bullhead City Fire Department subsequently instituted the Stage II fire burn ban within city limits, which began on, May 27, 2020, until a determination of the Fire Emergency was rescinded. This decision was based on current fire weather conditions, including extremely dry vegetation, heavy fuel loads, wind, and extreme temperatures. As a reminder, no wood-burning fire pits are allowed at this time.  Fires fueled by charcoal or propane are permitted.

We encourage you to think before you act and be fire aware. Being fire safe is everyone’s responsibility!
