BULLHEAD CITY–A celebration of life will be held for a local boy who tragically drowned in the Colorado River after he ran away from his residence last Saturday.
The service will be held Saturday, June 16 at 9 a.m. under the large ramada in Rotary Park, 2315 Balboa Drive.
Jeremy Duncan went missing last weekend from his home in the 500 block of Silver Lane. He was captured on surveillance video running down the street in the 2000 block of White Sands Drive around 9 a.m.
Hundreds of volunteers aided in the search of Jeremy for nearly 24 hours by combing the lower part of Bullhead City in pairs hoping to bring Jeremy home safely.
On Sunday, June 3, a boy’s body was found by kayakers submerged in the Colorado River just south of Rotary Park, only blocks away from his home.
The Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled his death as an accidental drowning.

A private graveside service will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens in Mohave Valley.
The public is welcome to attend the June 16 Celebration of Life. If you’d like to show support wear red, it was Jeremy’s favorite color.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the community for their support and kind words during this time.
