City Readies to Begin Yearly Street Maintenance Program

Bullhead City, AZ., September 08, 2023 – Bullhead City Street Maintenance Crews will be crack sealing streets in the coming weeks in preparation for the 2023/2024 City Street Maintenance Program (CSMP 23/24). The program, which aims to slurry seal or microsurface 20% of city roadways annually, is scheduled to begin the first week of October, and last until the summer of 2024 when temperatures become too warm for slurry maintenance. 

Crack sealing work will begin the morning of Monday, September 11, with the eastbound right turning lane of Riverview Drive between SR-95 and Kaibab Drive. The lane will be closed temporarily while crews work and reopen shortly after finish. City crews will then proceed to crack seal streets in the Fox Creek neighborhood.  

The full list of streets scheduled to receive crack sealing treatment the week of Sept 11, along with a complete list of all streets scheduled to receive slurry treatment as a part of CSMP 23/24 can be reviewed at Weekly schedules for slurry maintenance will also be posted at a week before the work will begin. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.  

Please use caution while traveling through City work zones. Obey posted signage and traffic control devices.
