BULLHEAD CITY–Interested in becoming a part of the Bullhead Area Transit System Commission (BATS) board? The City of Bullhead City is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the commission.

The BATS Commission makes recommendations to the Bullhead City Council regarding the development and maintenance of a public transportation system for the city. The BATS Commission meets quarterly on the first Monday of February, May, August, and November; and holds special meetings as required.

One seat on the BATS Commission is currently available. The position would begin immediately upon City Council approval and expire on September 30, 2020.

To be eligible, applicants should have a general understanding of the issues addressed by the commission or board seat they are applying for.

Appointments are made by the Bullhead City Council.  The City Council will consider applications to fill the seat at a future Council meeting.  Those submitting applications are encouraged to attend the Council meeting.
